Fellvane

This tutorial was written by me on March 12th, 2017 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PS Version used: PS CS3

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PS.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of VeryMany. You can purchase her tubes here.

PTU kit from Irish Princess Designs called Fellvane

Font of choice. I am using Aqualita.

Open Element 79. Edit > Transform > Scale using the following settings:

Resize to 488 x 600. Set your canvas size to 600 x 600.

Open Paper 14. Resize by 60%, then apply your mask. Paste your masked paper onto your frame canvas, then move below the frame layer.

Open Paper 7. Resize by 75%. Paste as a new layer just above the mask layer. On the frame layer, use your magic wand & click inside the frame. Select > Modify > Expand by 10. On the paper layer, Select > Inverse. Press delete, then deselect.

Next, we’ll add our elements:

55 – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place towards the top of the frame.
47 – resize by 45%. Place to the top of the frame.
70 – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer.
19 – resize by 40%. Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal. Place to the bottom left of the frame.
2 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right of the frame.
52 – resize by 55%. Place to the bottom.
42 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right of the sign.
1 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right. Duplicate & place to the bottom left.
31 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right of the leaf stalk.
11 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom of the leaf stalk.
76 – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom right of the box.
10 – resize by 11%. Place to the bottom of the mushroom.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above the paper layer. Place your tube’s face over the left side. Ctrl + click on the thumbnail of the paper layer. On the tube layer, Select > Inverse & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube, Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen. On the original layer, set the blend mode to Soft Light.

Paste your tube again, this time above the sign layer. Resize your tube as necessary & place to your liking. Duplicate your tube layer, set the blend mode to Soft Light.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
