Tequila Sunrise

PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of VeryMany. You can purchase her tubes here.

PTU kit from Irish Princess Designs called Tequila Sunrise. You can find purchase info here.

Font of choice. I am using Elastic.

Open Element 67. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 75%.

Open your mask & Paper 13. Resize your paper by 60%. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move below the frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

With your freehand selection tool set to point to point, create a selection slightly larger than your frame opening. Open Paper 12 & resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. This layer should be just below the frame layer.

Let’s add our elements now:

59 – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Place to the top of your frame, a little to the left.
118 – resize by 40%. Place to the top of the frame, a little to the right.
20 – resize by 50%. Place to the right.
84 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left.
28 – resize by 25%. Place over the left side of the frame.
48 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left.
70 – resize by 30%. Place to the right side of the white flowers.
5 – resize by 20%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom left of the tree.
129 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.
54 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right of the tree. Rotate slightly to the right.
107 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right, along the left side of the pineapple.
50 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right of the drink.
47 – resize by 15%. Place to the left of the coconut.
51 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left, as though it’s sitting on top of the shells.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above the paper layer. Flip horizontal & arrange over the paper layer. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00.

Effects, Artistic Effect, Halftone using the following settings:

TShalftone

Set the blend mode to Soft Light, 55. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L), 22.

Paste your tube again, this time above the shells layer. Resize as necessary. Place a little to the right. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 90.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Forest Fairy

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Anna Fesenko. You can purchase her tubes here.

Font of choice. I am using Blake.

Open Frame 10. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Resize all layers by 61%.

Open your mask & Paper 33. Resize your paper by 60%. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move the paper below the frame layer. Apply your mask, then merge group. Duplicate twice and then merge all the masked layers together.

Open Paper 9. Resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer above your mask layer. Using your freehand selection too, Point to point preset, create a selection just slightly larger than the frame opening, following the vines of the frame so that the edge of the paper is not visible. On the paper layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Now let’s add our elements:

105 – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Place over the frame.
128 – resize by 30%. Place to the top of the frame.
3 – resize by 40%. Place to your liking.
100 – resize by 40%. Place over the left side of the frame. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place over the right side of the frame.
58 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left.
39 – resize by 25%. Place over the right side of the waterfall.
63 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.
127 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
132 – resize by 50%. Place to your liking.
53 – resize by 40%. Place to the right side.
74 – resize by 20% Place to the bottom right of the snail. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom left of the lamp post.
5 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right.
82 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, between the white flowers.
14 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left.
10 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right.

Open your tube, resizing slightly. Paste as a new layer above the paper layer. Place over the left side of the paper. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

On the original layer, Effects > Artistic Effects > Halftone using the following settings:

Set the blend mode to Soft Light.

Open your tube again, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the tulle layer. Place a little to the right. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Celtic Spring

Open a new blank image, 600 x 600.

Open your mask & Paper 12. Resize your paper by 60%. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas. Apply your mask, merge group. Duplicate your mask layer, Effects > Artistic Effects > Haltone using the following settings:

Now let’s add our elements:

4 – resize by 50%. Place over the right side of the mask.
13 – resize by 60%. Place towards the bottom
18 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
90 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
97 – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer.
88 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left.
25 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
22 – resize by 55%. Place to your liking.
70 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left of the stone.
47 – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom left of the harp.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above the duplicate mask layer. Place over the left side. On the mask layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Set the blend mode to Luminance, 38.

Paste your tube again, this time above the bubbles layer, resizing as necessary. Place a little to the right. Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Soft Light.

Add your name & apply the EyeCandy 4000 Glass to your text if desired. Add your copyright & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
