This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Maryline Cazenave. You can purchase her tubes here.

Template by Brutal Designs. You can find it here.

Masks – Mask0269 by Trese. You can find it here. Also LNL Petal Mask by Leather and Lace Ads. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Brotherhood Script.

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 750 x 700. Resize all layers by 80%. Now delete the following layers: copyright & hello lovely.

Open both your masks. Add a new raster layer above the background layer. Floodfill with #ba9e6e. Apply the LNL Petal mask, merge group. Use your pick tool to resize so it is just slightly larger than the template. Objects, align, center in canvas. Now duplicate 6 times. Delete the background layer. You can merge all the petal mask layers together if you wish.

Open paper01. Paste as a new layer above your mask layer. Apply the second mask, merge group.

Merge together the Ellipse 3 & Ellipse 3 copy layers. Also merge together Shape 3 & 4.

Now replace each template layer with the following:

Ellipse 3 – paper08
Rectangle 1 – paper06
Rectangle 3 – paper08
Rectangle 1 copy – paper06
Rectangle 2 – paper08
Shape 1 – paper07
Shape 2 – paper02
Ellipse 1 – float, defloat, add a new raster layer & floodfill with #917043.
Ellipse 2 – paper04
Ellipse 4 – paper03
Shape 3 – paper08

Now to add our elements:

element02 – resize by 30%. Place above the top template layer. Place to the bottom of the heart shape in the upper right side of the template.
element05 – resize by 60%. Place to the right side.
element07 – resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Place to the upper left side of the ellipse layers.
element18 – resize by 40%, rotate right. Place to the bottom right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom left.
element04 – resize by 60%, rotate left. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom right.
element27 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom, a little to the left of the center. Duplicate & place a bit to the right of the center.
element25 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, between the two tulle pieces.
element22 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, along the left side of the tan flower. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place along the right side of the tan flower. Now move the tan flower above the pink flower layers.
element11 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left.
element17 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right of the bottle.
element14 – resize by 20%. Place to the upper right of the right pink flower.

Open your tube. Copy & paste as a new layer above the hearts layer, resizing as necessary. Place in the center.

Copy & paste your tube again, this time above the top ellipse layer. Place to the left of the original tube. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the right of the original tube. When you are satisfied with the placement, merge these two copies together. Set the blend mode to overlay, 70.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Definitely Girlie, Definitely

Open fr03. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 75%.

With your magic wand tool, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10.

Open pp08 & resize to 600 px. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move your paper below the frame layer.

Open your mask & pp14. Paste your paper as a new layer, then move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now to add our elements:

e09 – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer & place to your liking.
e40 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
e07 – resize by 50%, free rotate 180 to the left. Place to the top of the frame.
e45 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
e50 – resize by 45%. Place to the bottom left.
e25 – resize by 30%. Place to the top of the frame.
e48 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
e16 – resize by 45%. Place to the left.
e46 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the lantern.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the three flowers layer & place to your liking. Duplicate, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to overlay.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice.

Move your mask layer so it appears centered behind your image. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Winter Blues

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Jessica Dougherty. I purchase this tube when she sold through CILM, which is now closed. You may purchase her tubes here.

Font of choice. I am using Mathilde Castleland.

Open e12. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 92%. Set the canvas size to 572 x 502.

Open your mask & pp05. Paste your paper as a new layer and move this layer below the frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand & click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open pp09 & paste as a new layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move the paper below your frame layer.

Now lets add our elements:

e30 – paste as a new layer above the frame layer, flip horizontal.
e24 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left.
e17 – resize by 75%. Place over the branch.
e16 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
e06 – resize by 60%, rotate left. Flip horizontal & place to the top right of the frame.
Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom left.
e22 – resize by 80%, flip vertical. Place to the bottom.
e05 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left, then move it slightly in from the left.
e01 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left, making sure that you can see the glittery leaves we just added peeking out on the right side.
e38 – resize by 25%. Place to the top right of the frame.
e40 – resize by 35%. Place over the accordion flower.
e27 – resize by 70%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the ribbon layer. Flip horizontal & place toward the left side of the frame opening. Duplicate, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to soft light.

Paste your tube again, this time above the white paper layer. Duplicate three times & arrange to your liking over the paper layer. Merge these tubes together. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tubes layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your merged tubes layer, gaussian blur using the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to soft light, 50. On the original merged layer, press Shift + L, 0, 0. Lower the opacity to 40.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Lavender Moments

Open fr03. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 75%.

Use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Open pp10. Paste as a new layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move below your frame layer.

Open your mask & pp07. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas, move to the bottom layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now to add our elements:

e03 – resize by 50%. Paste above your frame layer & place to the upper right of the frame.
e04 – resize by 15%. Place over the bow of the ribbon.
e17 – resize by 55%. Place to the bottom.
e20 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.
e19 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom. Rotate a bit to the left so that it is laying down flat, then place to the left side. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the right side.
e13 – resize by 62%. Place towards the top of the tulle.
e11 – resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom left.
e02 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom, a little to the right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place a little to the left of the center.
e05 – resize by 24%. Place to the bottom, between the duplicate flowers. Arrange your duplicate flowers if needed.
e01 – resize by 62%, rotate right. Place to the bottom, centered over the paper flower.

Duplicate the very first flower we added (the one over the ribbon). Move this layer to the top, centered over the paper flower.

e30 – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom right so it looks as though it’s sitting on the first duplicate flower.

On your paper layer behind the frame, select all, float, defloat. Open your tube & paste as a new layer. Place to the right side of the frame opening. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, 80. On the original tube layer, lower the opacity to 50.

Paste your tube again, but this time above the very first flower layer, flip horizontal. Resize as necessary. Place to your liking. Use your rectangular selection tool and erase any part of the tube that hangs below the bottom elements.

Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur using the previous settings. Set the blend mode to soft light.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Open a new blank image, 600 x 600.

Open frame01. Resize by 70%. Paste as a new layer onto your blank image.

Open paper01 & your mask. Paste as a new layer above the bottom layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand & click inside your frame. Open paper03. Paste your paper as a new layer above the mask layer. Selections, invert & press delete.

Now to add our elements:

element03 – resize by 62%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place to the bottom.
element13 – resize by 80%, rotate left. Place to the upper right corner.
element17 – resize by 25%, rotate right 180 degrees. Paste as a new layer & place to the upper right corner.
element01 – resize by 30%. Place to the upper right, a little below the green leaves.
element12 – resize by 50%. Place to the upper right corner.
element19 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom right.
element10 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom, over the stem of the leaf on the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place over the stem of the other leaf.
element09 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom, just over the top left of the flower on the right side. Rotate slightly to the right.
element18 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom, between the two purple flowers.
element02 – resize by 25%. Place to the left side. Rotate slightly to the left.
element15 – resize by 69%. Paste as a new layer.
wordart01 – resize by 30%. Paste as a new layer & place to the upper left corner. Select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #f2f2f1. Deselect & move this layer below the wordart layer. On the wordart layer, merge down.

Open your tube & resize as necessary. Paste as a new layer just above the frame layer. Place to the bottom.

Open your tube or a closeup. Resize slightly (you want it to be larger than your main tube) & paste as a new layer above the paper layer. Place towards the top of the frame opening, flip horizontal. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On your tube (closeup) layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your (closeup) tube. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, 60. On the original, set the blend mode to luminance(L), 40.

On the top layer, add your name. EyeCandy 4000 Bevel Boss using the following settings: 7.18, 30, 23, Inside marquee checked, 0, Shade interior unchecked.

Repeat the white text background as we did with the wordart.

Add your copyright & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Sweet Christmas 2015

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 750 x 614. Resize by 80%.

Delete the following layers: cr, 15, 14, 4, 2.

Create a linear gradient with two colors of your choice. I am using #d7d0c0 & #fdf4f5. In the gradient tab, set the angle to 135, repeats 3. Add a new raster layer above the background layer. Floodfill this layer with your gradient.

On the gradient layer, Xenofex 2 Constellation, 3.27, 50, 1, 4, 100, 75, 45, keep original image checked, random seed 1.

Open your mask & minimize. Apply your mask to your gradient layer, merge group. With your pick tool, drag the edges of your mask to the edges of the canvas size.

Replace the remaining layers with the following:

1 – pp07
3 – pp07
5 – pp02
6 – pp02
7 – pp01
8 – pp11
9 – pp01
10 – pp11
11 – pp03
12 – pp09
13 – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #fdf4f5

Now to add our elements:

hanging ornaments – resize by 30%. Place to the right side, slightly down.
greenery cluster – resize by 40%. Place to the upper right.
white Christmas tree – resize by 40%. Place to the left side, slightly down.
bells – resize by 71%. Place to the top.
pink poinsetta – resize by 25%. Place over the greenery cluster. Duplicate, place to the bottom center.
satin ribbon – resize by 66%, rotate right. Place to the bottom. Move this layer below the duplicate poinsetta layer.
ornaments – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right of the tree.
deer – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, over the right side of the ornaments.
snowflake ornament – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom, over the ornaments.
sweets – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
wrapped gift – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom of the hanging ornaments.
heart cookies – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left of the gift.
candy 02 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left of the ornaments.

Open your tube or a close up. Paste as a new layer just below the dotted layer.

Mura Meister Copies, Wall Paper(rotate)using the default settings. Blur, gaussian blur 10.00. Blur, motion blur, 45.00, 100. Repeat twice. On the paper layer just below this layer, select all, float, defloat. On the copies layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Set the blend mode for this layer to Luminance(L), 42.

Paste your tube again & place over the blurred layer. On the top paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the top tube layer, selections, invert & press delete, deselect. Duplicate the tube layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Xenofex 2 Constellation using the previous settings. Set the blend mode for this layer to screen, 50. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to soft light, 50.

Paste your tube (full sized tube) as a new layer above the original poinsetta layer. Place to your liking. Using your rectangle selection tool, erase any part of the tube that hangs below the bottom elements. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Shift + L, 0, 0. Set the blend mode to overlay.

Add your name, apply the EyeCandy 4000 Glass & Gradient Glow using the settings of your choice to your text, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers.

Hide the mask layer. Merge visible, objects, align, center in canvas.

Save as a PNG.

Open frame01. Resize by 70%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 75%.

Open your mask & pp05. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Apply your mask, merge group. Move this layer to the bottom.

Open branch02. Resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer. MuRa’s Meister Copies, Encircle preset. Change the Shift X & Shift Y to 55.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand tool & click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open pp01 & paste as a new layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move this layer below the frame layer.

Now add your remaining elements.

lights – resize by 35. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place towards the top of the frame. On the frame layer, use your magic wand tool & click outside of the frame. On the lights layer, press delete. Deselect.
big bow – resize by 15%. Place to the top, along the rope of the lights.
flowers 02 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom right.
icy leaves – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom between the white flowers.
icy leaf – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom right.
star – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom, slightly to the left of center. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place slightly to the right of center.
ribbon – resize by 55%. Place to the bottom.
paper flower – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom, between the two stars.
little bird – resize by 12%. Place to the bottom right, on top of the ribbon.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer just above the big bow layer. Place to your liking.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Open e42. Resize by 70%, all layers unchecked. Resize all layers by 86%.

Open your mask & pp06. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move the paper layer below the frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open pp08 & paste as a new layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move below your frame layer.

Now lets add our remaining elements:

e03 – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place to the upper left inside corner of the frame.
e15 – paste as a new layer & place to the bottom. Duplicate, flip horizontal.
e32 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom right & move this layer below the duplicate branch.
e34 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
e08 – resize by 92%. Place to the bottom.
e14 – resize by 80%. Place to the bottom.
e39 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left.
e33 – resize by 30% Paste as a new layer above the duplicate branch. Place to the bottom, slightly to the right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place a little to the left.
e20 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom of the tree. Rotate slightly to the right.
e01 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom. If needed, arrange the two flowers below it so one is to the left side of the top flower & one is to the right of the top flower.
e17 – resize by 79%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer just above the paper layer. Place to the right side of the frame opening. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 70. On the original tube layer, Alien Skin Xenofex 2 – Constellation using the following settings:

Change the opacity for this layer to 55.

Paste you tube again, this time just above the bow layer. Flip horizontal, resize as necessary. Place to the left side of the frame opening. Use your selection tool to erase any part of the tube that hangs below your branch layers.

On your mask layer, Alien Skin Xenofex 2 – Constellation. Change the star size to 3.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Dreamer

Open frame3. Resize by 70%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 75%.

Open your mask & paper1. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move this layer below the frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Open paper2. Paste as a new layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move your paper layer below the frame layer.

Now for the remaining elements:

element16 – resize by 35%, rotate right. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place to the bottom, slightly to the left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place slightly to the right of the center. Duplicate each leaf once. On the left side duplicate, place to the bottom left & move this layer below the original bottom left leaf. Repeat for the right duplicate leaf on the right side.
element21 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right. Duplicate & place to the upper right corner of the frame.
element2 – resize by 92%. Place to your liking.
element13 – resize by 77%. Place to the bottom over the leaves. Arrange the bottom left metal deco so that it is under the bow.
element9 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom, slightly to the left. Move so it is towards the top of the leaves. Duplicate & place a little to the right. Duplicate again, resizing slightly & place over the metal deco in the upper right corner.
element5 – resize by 25%. Place next the bottom metal deco. Duplicate & place to the right side.
element3 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom, between the two lighter blue flowers.
element20 – resize by 10%. Place in the center of the flower in the upper right corner.
element4 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom, over the top left of the flower on the right side.
element17 – resize by 79%. Place to the bottom. Duplicate, rotate left 180. Place to the top, to your liking. Move this duplicate layer so it is just above the frame layer.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above your paper layer. Place to the right side of the frame opening. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 67. On the original tube layer, effects, artistic effects, halftone using the following settings:

Set the blend mode for this layer to Overlay, 46.

Paste your tube again, but this time paste just below the leaf layers. Place to the left side. Resize your tube as necessary & delete any part of the tube that hangs below the leaves. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 85.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Barbara Jensen. You can purchase her tubes here.

Font of choice. I am using Nenuphar of Venus.

Open Frame2. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Set the canvas size to 700 x 714. Resize all layers by 84%.

With your magic wand tool, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10. Open paper4. Paste as a new layer onto your frame. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Move this layer below your frame layer.

Open your mask & paper01. On your mask, Image > Negative image. Paste your paper as a new layer. Move your paper to the bottom layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Add noise, gaussian, 25, monochrome checked.

Lets add our elements:

element01 – Resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer.
element15 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left side of the frame. Move it slightly up from the bottom.
element12 – resize by 40%. Place to the top left corner of the frame. Move slightly to the right. Duplicate, flip horizontal, flip vertical. Place slightly to the left of the top left corner.
element14 – resize by 40%. Place to the upper left corner of the frame.
element10 – resize by 30%. Place over the bow.
element12 – undo the previous resize. Resize by 50%. Place to the bottom right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom left.
element19 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left.
element13 – resize by 71%, rotate left. Place to the bottom.
element03 – resize by 25%. Place over the bracelet.
element07 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, slightly to the right. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place slightly to the left of center.
element09 – resize by 35%. Place to the right side of the frame, move slightly down.

Duplicate your butterfly, flip horizontal & move this layer above your key layer. Place to the bottom of the key.

element06 – resize by 25%. Place to the lower right.
element02 – resize by 30%. Place between the beaded flowers.

Open your tube. Copy & paste as a new layer just above your paper layer. Place your tube to the left side of the paper layer. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selection, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to overlay, 50. On the original tube layer, effects > artistic effects > halftone using the following settings:

Set the blend mode to soft light.

Paste your tube again, this time above the pearl button layer, resizing as necessary. Place slightly to the right.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
