PSP Version used: PSP 2018

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Eugene Rzhevskii. You can purchase his tubes here.

PTU from Dees’Sign Depot called Beachy Keen. You can purchase this kit here.

Font of choice. I am using First Dance.

Filters:

Xero Porcelain

Open Element 90. Resize by 85%, all layers unchecked. Resize all layers by 75%. Set the canvas size to 600 x 500.

With your magic wand tool, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10.

Open Paper 18. Resize by 56%. Paste as a new layer onto your window canvas. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move the paper below the window layer.

First let’s add our elements:

Spray 4 – resize by 85%. Paste as a new layer above the window layer.
Frame 3d – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer.
Element 103b – resize by 50%. Place to the right side of the left shutter.
Element 88 – resize by 45%. Place over the plant we just added.
Element 21 – resize by 80%. Place to the upper right side of the window.
Element 24b – resize by 30%. Place over the right shutter.
Element 89 – resize by 40%, rotate left. Place over the netting.
Element 12 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom of the grass. Rotate slightly to the left.
Element 49a – resize by 65%. Place to the bottom of the window. Free rotate so that the left side of the ribbon lays flat horizontally.
Element 55f – resize by 60%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom and a little below the ribbon.
Element 9b – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left of the stamp.
Element 15 – resize by 35%. Place to the right side of the stamp.
Element 108 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right of the dog.

On your ribbon layer, add your drop shadow if you choose to add one, then select all, float, defloat. On your sand layer use your eraser tool and erase the sand that covers the part of the ribbon that lays flat or is covered by the sand.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the stamp layer. Place to your liking. For any part of the tube that hangs below the sand, use your selection tool by drawing a rectangle over the part of the tube you’d like to remove, then press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube. Hide the duplicate. On the original, Xero Porcelain using the following settings:

Note: Depending on the version of the filter, some will have fewer settings and some will include the below settings, which include the settings for porcelain effect, channel tuning, & compensation.

Softness – 52
Strength – 43

Red – 0
Green – 0
Blue – 0

Exposure – -21
Contrast – 62
Saturation – -14

Unhide your duplicate tube and set the blend mode to screen, 70.

Add your name, your remaining drop shadows, your copyright & license info. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Savannah Loves Selfies

Font of choice. I am using Simplicity.

Open TAG2. Set the canvas size to 600 x 500.

Open your mask & PP17. Resize your paper by 75%. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your tag canvas. Move your paper below the tag layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now let’s add our elements:

STAR1 – resize by 90%. Paste as a new layer above the tag layer.
SUN2 – resize by 40%. Place to the top right corner of the tag.
LEAF2 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right of the sun. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place slightly up & to the left. We will work on the placement in a little bit.
HEART1 – resize by 30%. Place between the leaves & to the bottom left of the sun.
RIBBON2 – resize by 80%. Place to the bottom, a bit to the right.
WORDART2 – resize by 30%. Place to the right side of the tag, a little down.
CUPCAKE2 – resize by 35%. Place to the bottom right.
FLOWER4 – resize by 60%. Place to the left of the cupcake. Duplicate, flip horizontal. Place to the left side of the tag, a little down from the top edge.
GIRL2 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
CUPCAKE3 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right of the girls.
CANDY5 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom, between the flower and right cupcake.
CANDY2 – resize by 25%. Place between the left cupcake & the flower.

Now you will want to place the first leaf so it is coming out of the top right of the wordard. The duplicate, you will want to place above the ‘s’ in the wordart. Rotate slightly to the right.

On the wordart, select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, expand by 3. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #fefefe. Deselect. Add noise, gaussian, 25, monochrome checked. Move this layer below the wordart layer. Merge the wordart down with the white background layer.

Add your name using the same white background & noise that we just added to the wordart. Add your credits & apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Mura Meister Copies

Open FRAME7. Resize by 80%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 76%.

Using your freehand selection tool, selection type set to point to point, mode set to add (shift), in each frame create the selections that are just slightly larger than the frame openings.

Open PP10. Resize by 75%. Paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move the paper layer below the frame layer.

Open your mask & PP20. Resize your paper by 75%. Paste as a new layer & move to the bottom layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Add noise, random, 3, monochrome checked.

Now let’s add our elements:

DECO2 – resize by 60%. Place to the far left edge of the frame. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the far right edge of the frame.
DECO5 – resize by 40%. Center over the top of the frame.
SCATTER2 – resize by 90%. Place to your liking.
BOX2 – resize by 41%. Place to the bottom left.
BORDER2 – resize by 73%. Place to the bottom.
CAT – resize by 55%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.
CLUSTER1 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.

Open your tube, resizing slightly. Paste as a new layer just below your frame layer. Place behind the second frame with her face inside the frame.

Mura Meister Copies – H-Tile(random v-line) preset, 20, 45, 36, 0, 0, 0, 100, 100, 0, -7, 0, 30, 0.

Duplicate, move below the original Mura’s layer, then flip horizontal. Place to your liking. I moved mine in to the left a little. Merge the two mura’s layers together. On the frame back paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the mura’s layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate the mura’s layer once more. Gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay, 26. On the original mura’s layer, set the blend mode to Screen, 79.

Paste your tube again, this time just above the scatter layer, resizing as necessary. Flip horizontal & place to the right side.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

It Must Bee Love

Open your template. Delete the top layer. Set the canvas size to 800 x 591. Resize by 75%.

Merge together the following layers: 4 & 5; 8 & 9

Replace each layer with the following:

Note: Resize each paper by 75% before applying to your layer.

1 – PP4
2 – PP10
3 – PP1
4 – set your foreground to #f9f6f4 & your background to #f2c744. Set the foreground to the fore/back linear gradient, angle 315, repeats 3. On this layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with your gradient. Deselect & delete the original merged layer.

Effects, artistic effects, halftone using the following settings:

ItMustBeeLoveHalftone

6 – PP2, add noise, random, 30, monochrome checked.
7 – PP7
8- set your background to #99b02c. Repeat the steps used for layer 4, but for the gradient change the angle to 45. Also repeat the halftone.
10 – PP8

Open your mask & HONEYCOMB2. Paste the honeycomb as a new layer above the background layer. Rotate by 45 degrees to the left or right, doesn’t matter. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now let’s add our elements:

TREE2 – resize by 65%. Paste above the top layer. Place over the left side of the template.
HONEYCOMB1 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom of the tree.
BEE3 – resize by 40%. Place to the top left of the top paper layer.
HIVE2 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
HEART1 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left. Rotate slightly to the left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the upper right corner of the yellow paper layer.
FLOWER1 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left of the top right heart. Duplicate & place to the bottom right of the bottom left heart.
BEE5 – resize by 30%. Place just above the hive.
BUTTERFLY1 – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Place to the upper right of the bottom left flower. Rotate slightly to the left.
FLOWER5 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom, a little to the right.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer & place to your liking.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Mura’s Meister Clouds

Open a new blank image, 600 x 250.

Open PP6. Resize by 75%. Paste onto your blank canvas.

Hide your foreground color. The background color doesn’t matter as long as you can see it. With your rectangle tool, draw out a tall, thin rectangle. Convert to raster layer. Place to the right of your canvas. Free rotate, right, 40. Duplicate your rectangle so you have one above the other. When satisfied with the placement, merge these two rectangles together. See my tag for placement.

Set your foreground to #ffd586 and your background to #f582a9. Open a new blank image, 600 x 600. Click on your foreground color and set it to a radial gradient, angle 0, repeats 5. Floodfill the blank canvas with your gradient.

Mura Meister Clouds using the default setting.

Copy your cloud background you just made. On the original canvas, select the rectangle layer. Select all, float, defloat. Paste your background, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & delete your original rectangle layer.

Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:

Now to add our elements:

CURTAIN3 – paste as a new layer above the halftone layer. Place to the top.
FLOWER7 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom, a little to the right. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place a little to the left of the center.
PHONE1 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left. Rotate a little to the left.
LIPSTICK2 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom, over the right side of the phone.
ENVELOPE1 – resize by 30%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom of the phone.
BLUSH1 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom right, a little in from the right edge.
HAIRSPRAY – resize by 40%. Place to the right of the blush.
BUBBLES – resize by 85%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube. Paste as a new layer just above the halftone layer. Place part of the tube over the left rectangles. On the rectangles layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Repeat for the other side. Set the blend mode for each to Overlay.

Paste your tube again, this time above the envelope layer. Resize as necessary. Place between the two flowers. Move each flower over so you can see the flowers on either side of your tube.

On the background layer, select all. Image, Crop to selection.

Open PP10. Paste as a new layer above the top layer. Select all, modify, contract by 3. Press delete, then deselect.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Avatar:

Undo until you no longer have the frame. Merge visible. With your crop tool, crop a section of your tag. I chose to make mine 180 x 180. Repeat the text, frame, & drop shadow, if used. Save as a PNG.
