Open a new blank image, 600 x 250.

Open texture IMG_1972. Resize by 16%. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas. Move a little towards the bottom. See my tag for reference.

Open texture brdrsteampunk3. Resize by 41%. Copy & paste as a new layer. Objects, Align, Bottom. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

Open a new blank image, 50 x 500. Floodfill with white. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your texture canvas. Free rotate, 45 degrees to the right.

Mura Meister Copies, Line preset, Number 5.

Open your tube & resize to your liking. Copy & paste as a new layer.

Mura Meister Copies, Wallpaper preset, Number 50.

On the white lines layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections invert & press delete. Deselect & delete the white lines layer. Duplicate the tube layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode for both layers to Overlay.

Paste your tube again & place to the right side. Duplicate twice.

On the bottom tube layer, Toadies – What are You? using the default settings. Set the blend mode to Multiply.

On the top tube layer, gaussian blur using the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

Add a new raster layer.

On the very bottom layer, select all. On the top layer, contract by 5. Floodfill with #ffffff. Selections, modify, contract by 3. Press delete, then deselect.

Add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your frame & name.

Merge visible & save as a PNG or JPG.

Optional Avatar –

Delete the text & frame layers. Merge visible.

Crop your tag to 150 x 150.

Repeat the steps for the text & frame. Save as a PNG or JPG.

Autumn Witchery

Open your template. Delete the credits layer & the Raster 3 layer. Set the canvas size to 900 x 781. Now resize your template by 67%.

Merge together the following layers:

Raster 9 & Copy of Raster 9
Raster 7 & Copy of Raster 7
Raster 8 & Copy of Raster 8
Raster 6 & Copy of Raster 6

Open your mask & Paper (52). Resize your paper by 60%. Copy & paste as a new layer above the Raster 1 layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Replace each layer with the following (resize each paper by 60% beforehand):

Raster 10 – Paper (11)
Raster 9 – Paper (53)
Raster 7 – Paper (40)
Raster 8 – Paper (22)
Raster 6 – Paper (2)
Raster 2 – Paper (39)

Next we are going to add our elements:

(132) – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer above the orange circles layer. Place to the top of the left circle. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place over the right circle.
(25) – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer above the top circle layer. Place to the right, slightly down.
(161) – resize by 50%. Place to the top of the top circle layer.
(75) – resize by 40%. Place to your liking.
(157) – resize by 75%. Place slightly up from the bottom.
(162) – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
(56) – resize by 20%. Place over the left edge of the top circle layer.
(23) – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left of the pentacle.
(35) – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left.
(7) – resize by 60%. Place over the top half of the template layers.
(5) – resize by 25%. Place over the top left of the chest.
(42) – resize by 35%. Place to the right side of the chest.
(47) – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom right.
(130) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left of the book. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the right of the chest.
(20) – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom of the chest.
(100) – resize by 25%. Place over the right leaf. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place over the left leaf.
(10) – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the book.
(6) – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom, between the roses.
(8) – resize by 20%. Place over the left side of the skulls.
(158) – resize by 44%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the hawk layer.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers.

Hide your mask layer. Merge visible. With your merged image highlighted in the layer palette, Objects, Align, Center in Canvas. Now you can unhide your mask layer, then merge visible.

Save as a PNG.

Vintage Halloween

Open your template. Delete the following layers: copyright, Layer 1, white rec, & bg. Merge together the two green circle layers.

Open your mask & PP9. Resize your paper by 75%. Paste as a new layer above your Background layer. Set your canvas size to 750 x 750. Resize by 80%.

Apply your mask, merge group. Lower the opacity to 60.

Replace each layer with the following (resize each paper by 75% before replacing each layer):

Green circle layer right – PP6
Green rounded rec – PP11
Blk rounded rec – PP3
Grey rounded rec – PP8

Now lets add our elements:

Dangles – resize by 50%. Place to the top.
Clouds – paste as a new layer. Place to your liking.
Bow1 – resize by 40%. Place to the top left, slightly in from the left side.
Sign – resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Place to the right side.
Ribbon2 – resize by 50%, rotate left. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate & place to the bottom right.
Swirl – resize by 80%. Place to the top of the ribbon.
CandyCornDeco – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right, just below the sign.
Ghost – resize by 40%. Place to the upper left.
Spider – resize by 25%. Place to the top.
Bat – resize by 30%. Place to the upper right.

Open your tube, resizing slightly. Paste as a new layer above the lightest paper layer. Place over the paper. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Duplicate the tube layer. Gaussian blur 3.00. Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone. Use the following settings:

Set the blend mode to overlay, 55. On the original layer, press Shift+L, 0, 0. Set the blend mode to soft light, 40.

Open your tube again, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the ghost layer. Place to your liking.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Parlour Magick

Open Frame 6. Resize to 590 x 600. Now scale your frame so it is slightly smaller, about 75%.

Open your mask & Paper 1. Apply your mask to your paper. Copy & paste your paper as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move the mask layer below your frame layer.

On your frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Select, modify, expand by 10. Open Paper 3. Copy & paste as a new layer. Select, inverse, & press delete. Deselect & move your paper below the frame layer.

Now lets add our elements:

Element 59 – copy & paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Scale to the size of your choice. Place to the top of the frame.
Spray 8 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size & place to the inner right side of the frame.
Element 55 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place slightly down & to the right.
Element 47a – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place over the brown leaves.
Element 71 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the left side of the frame.
Element 11 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the bottom left.
Element 75 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the bottom.
Element 23 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the bottom right.
Element 2e – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place over the skull.
Element 4 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the right of the skull.
Element 10 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to the bottom of the candle.
Spray 15 – copy & paste as a new layer. Scale to size. Place to your liking.

Open your tube. Copy & paste as a new layer above the candle layer, then scale to size. Place to your liking.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

A Yorkie Autumn

Open a new blank image, 600 x 250.

Hide your foreground color in your color palette. Select your rectangle tool. Set the Horizontal & Vertical Radius on your rectangle tool menu to 15.00. Now click & drag from your upper left corner of your canvas to your lower right corner of your canvas. Your rectangle should be slightly smaller than your canvas size. Convert your rectangle to a raster layer.

On the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat.

Open Paper (30). Copy & paste as a new layer onto your rectangle layer. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. You can delete your rectangle layer now.

Lets add our elements:

(18) – resize by 50%, free rotate to the left 180. Place to the upper left corner of your paper, showing only the leaves, not the stem. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the upper right corner.
(76) – resize by 80%. Place to the right side of the top left leaves.
(33) – resize by 75%. Place to your liking.
(2) – resize by 40%, rotate right. Place to the bottom right, with about half below the canvas. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom left.
(45) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom with the bottom of the leaves at the center point. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the right of the original.
(67) – resize by 35%. Place to the bottom, just under the left light colored leaf. Duplicate & place just under the right light colored leaf.
(59) – resize by 35%. Place to the bottom, between the sparkly flowers.
(39) – resize by 30%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.
(29) – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom left.
(35) – resize by 35%. Place to the bottom of the lantern.

Open your tube, resizing so it is slightly larger than the main tube will be. Paste as a new layer just above the paper layer. Duplicate 3 times & arrange over your paper layer. When satisfied, merge your tubes together. Duplicate the merged layer. Adjust, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Hard Light, 24. On the original merged layer, lower the opacity to 30.

Paste your tube again, just above the lights layer. Resize slightly. Place slightly to the right of the center.

Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers.

Hide your paper layer for now. Merge visible. Unhide your paper layer. On your paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On your Merged layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect, then merge visible.

Select all, float, defloat again. Selections, modify, select selection borders, inside & anti-alias checked, border width, 5.

Open Paper (13). Copy & paste as a new layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

For your avatar:

Open a new blank image. I chose 180 x 180 for the size. Repeat the steps used to create the rectangle that were used for the signature.

Copy your merged image from your signature, then paste onto your avatar canvas as a new layer. Place to your liking. On the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & delete the rectangle layer.

On your merged layer, repeat the selection borders. Paste Paper (13) as a new layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Add your name or initial, then add your copyright & license info. Merge visible & save as a PNG.

Open Frame (16). Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize all layers by 61%.

Open (111). Resize by 75%. Paste as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Move below the frame layer.

With your freehand selection tool, point to point preset, create a selection slightly larger than the opening of the frame. Do not deselect.

Open Paper (25). Resize by 60%. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Selections, invert. Press delete, deselect. Move below the leaves layer.

Now to add our remaining elements:

(96) – resize by 35%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Place towards the top of the frame.
(99) – resize by 20%. Place to the upper right of the frame. Duplicate & place to the lower left of the frame.
(139) – resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Place to the right side.
(170) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom right.
(176) – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Place to the left of the banner.
(74) – resize by 25%. Place to the left of the mushrooms.
(149) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left.
(137) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom, to the left of the paper heart.
(177) – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom.
(8) – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom of the mushrooms.
(102) – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the orange flower.
(1) – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left.
(125) – resize by 15%. Place to the bottom.
(119) – resize by 20%. Paste as a new layer just below the orange flower we just added. Place to the right side of the orange flower. Duplicate, & place to the left side of the orange flower.
(17) – resize by 30%. Place on top of the large orange mushrooms.
(185) – resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer.
(184) – resize by 55%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer just below the orange ribbon layer.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.

Just a few things before we get started…

Use my tag as a reference image for element sizing. This will help with both PS & PSP users.

To scale/resize, click shift + left click and drag to the size you want. In PS you will be using your move tool. In PSP this will be your pick tool.

PS users can drag an image from one window to another. For PSP users, you will copy & paste as a new layer.

Open your mask & P22. Apply your mask to your paper. Convert to smart object, then rasterize layer.

Open a new blank image, 600 x 600. Drag your mask onto the blank canvas.

Now lets add our elements:

66 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale so it is slightly smaller than the height of your mask. Place to the left side.
27 – edit, transform, flip horizontal. Drag to your working canvas, then scale to size. Place towards the top of the shed, a little to the right. Now move it below the shed layer.
75 – drag onto your working canvas, then scale to size. Place to the right side.
82 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size. Place over the bottom half of the shed.
51 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size. Place to the bottom right.
28 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size. Place to the bottom left of the shed. Duplicate & place to the bottom right of the clothesline.
58 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & then place to the bottom.
4 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the right side of the clothesline.
24 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the right side of the shed.
73 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the bottom of the flower vine.
26 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the top of the shed.
78 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the bottom left.
20 – drag onto your working canvas. Scale to size & place to the bottom of the wheel. Duplicate & place to the bottom of grass on the right side.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Drag onto your working canvas. Move this layer so it is just above the wheel layer. Place to your liking.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
