This tutorial was written by me on June 20th, 2015 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.
PSP Version used: PSP X5
This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.
FTU kit from Black Widow Creationz. This is her Facebook freebie called Mermaids. You can find it here.
Mask 2 from Mask Set 74 from me. You can find it here.
Font of choice. I am using ZigZag.
Open EL33. Resize by 75%, all layers unchecked. Now resize slightly so the image is 600 x 600 px.
Open your mask & PP4. Paste your paper as a new layer & move this layer below the port hole frame. Apply your mask, merge group. I used my pick tool to make the mask larger. Just drag the corners to the edge of the canvas.
On the frame layer, activate your magic wand tool & select inside the frame. You will have to click in a few different areas to fully select the interior. Selections, modify, expand by 10.
Set your foreground color to #6d73ef & your background color to #be5aab. Create a linear gradient, angle 0, repeats 0. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with your gradient. Deselect & move this layer below the frame layer.
Now we will add the remaining elements above the frame layer:
EL13 – resize by 40%. Place to the top of the frame.
EL16 – resize by 80%. Place to the bottom left.
EL7 – resize by 60%. Place to the upper left, along the frame.
EL3 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.
EL34 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
EL23 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom.
EL17 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left.
EL2 – resize by 50%. Place to the right & a little down from the center.
EL1 – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Place to the lower left, to the left side of the seahorse.
EL22 – resize by 20%. Place to the left of the teal shell.
EL25 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
EL19 – resize by 20%. Place to the right of the teal shell.
EL9 – resize by 25%. Place over the grass.
EL28 – resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Place to your liking.
EL31 – resize by 65%. Place to the top of the sand.
Add your name, copyrights, & license info (if using a different tube than I did). Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
