Spring Embrace

AP_SpringEmbrace_Carrie

This tutorial was written by me on April 19th, 2017 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Alex Prihodko. You can purchase his tubes here.

PTU kit from PinkParadoxProductions called Spring Embrace. You can purchase the kit here.

Mask 530 from Weescotslass Creations. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Contribute.

Open Frame 6. Set the canvas to 980 x 980. Now resize by 85%, all layers unchecked. Finally, resize all layers by 61%.

Use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 10.

Open Paper 32 & resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer onto your frame canvas. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect & move below your frame layer.

Open your mask & Paper 30. Resize by 60%. Paste as a new layer. Move this paper below the first paper. Apply your mask, merge group.

Next we’ll add our elements:

122 – resize by 30%. Paste as a new layer above the frame layer & place to the top left of the frame. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the top right of the frame.
65 – resize by 25%. Place to the top of the frame, between the two sets of flowers.
117 – resize by 40% Place to the bottom left side of the frame.
43 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
131 – resize by 35%, rotate left. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place to the bottom right.
101 – resize by 25%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom.
15 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left.
62 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right of the cherub.
145 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
57 – resize by 40%. Place to the right side of the frame.
66 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the bird cage.
12 – resize by 30%. Place so it looks like the bird is sitting on top of the door.
25 – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom.
2 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom right.
155 – resize by 50%. Paste as a new layer.

Open your tube, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the tulip flower layer. Place so she’s in the center.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your layers, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
