Christmas Love

This tutorial was written by me on December 3rd, 2016 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Vadis. You can purchase her tubes here.

PTU kit from Pink Paradox Productions called Christmas Love. You can purchase the kit here.

Template 305 from Toxic Desirez. You can find it here.

Sparkle Snowflake Mask from Leather and Lace. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Yugoslavia.

Filters:

EyeCandy 4000 – Glass (text only)
Xero – Radiance

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 900 x 781. Delete the credits layer & Raster 5. Now resize by 67%.

Merge together the following layers: Raster 13 & Copy of raster 13; Raster 11 & Copy of Raster 11; Raster 12 & Copy of Raster 12; Raster 9 & Copy of Raster 9; Raster 10 & Copy of Raster 10; Raster 7 & Copy of Raster 7; Raster 8 & Copy of Raster 8; Raster 6 & Copy of Raster 6.

Replace each layer with the following (resize each paper by 60% prior to replacing the layer):

Raster 13 – Paper 24
Raster 11 – Paper 5
Raster 12 – Paper 33
Raster 9 – Paper 35
Raster 10 – Paper 22
Raster 7 – Paper 4
Raster 8 – Paper 37
Raster 6 – Paper 18
Copy of Raster 2 – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #a6000c. Deselect & delete the original layer. Add noise, Gaussian, 50, monochrome checked.
Raster 2 – Paper 8
Copy of Raster 4 – repeat the steps for the Copy of Raster 2 layer but change the color used to #8bb841.
Raster 4 – Paper 5
Raster 14 – select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer & floodfill with #a6000c. Delete the original layer.

On the top circle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 7, resizing by 60%. Paste as a new layer & arrange over the circle to your liking. Selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Set the blend mode to Burn.

Open your mask & Paper 9. Resize you paper by 60%. Paste your paper above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Add noise, using the same settings as before.

Now lets add our elements:

115 – resize by 40%. Paste as a new layer above the dotted circle layer. Place over the top circle.
102 – resize by 20%. Place to the top of the top circle layer, a little to the left of the center. Duplicate, flip horizontal & place slightly to the right of the center.
111 – resize by 20%. Place between the pine cones.
88 – resize by 30%. Place slightly up from the bottom.
80 – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom.
1 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom left.
7 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.
23 – resize by 25%. Place to the bottom of the reindeer.
105 – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
26 – resize by 20%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.
43 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom left of the snowmen.
2 – resize by 30%. Place to the right of the gift box.
41 – resize by 20%. Place to the bottom.
38 – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom.
33 – resize by 20%. Place to the left of the hat.
21 – resize by 20%. Place to the right edge of the train.

Open your tube, resizing slightly. Paste as a new layer above the top circle layer. Arrange over the circle to your liking. On the circle layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert & press delete. Deselect. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Overlay. On the original layer, lower the opacity to 8.

Now resize your tube again…but this time resize as necessary. Paste your tube as a new layer above the trees layer. Place slightly to the left.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
