This tutorial was written by me on October 8th, 2016 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube is by the talented Laguna called Steampunk Valentine. You can purchase her tubes here.

Font of choice. I am using Kingthings Pique’n’meex.

Mura Meister Copies

Open a new blank image, 600 x 250.

Open texture IMG_1972. Resize by 16%. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas. Move a little towards the bottom. See my tag for reference.

Open texture brdrsteampunk3. Resize by 41%. Copy & paste as a new layer. Objects, Align, Bottom. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

Open a new blank image, 50 x 500. Floodfill with white. Copy & paste as a new layer onto your texture canvas. Free rotate, 45 degrees to the right.

Mura Meister Copies, Line preset, Number 5.

Open your tube & resize to your liking. Copy & paste as a new layer.

Mura Meister Copies, Wallpaper preset, Number 50.

On the white lines layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections invert & press delete. Deselect & delete the white lines layer. Duplicate the tube layer, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode for both layers to Overlay.

Paste your tube again & place to the right side. Duplicate twice.

On the bottom tube layer, Toadies – What are You? using the default settings. Set the blend mode to Multiply.

On the top tube layer, gaussian blur using the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to Overlay.

Add a new raster layer.

On the very bottom layer, select all. On the top layer, contract by 5. Floodfill with #ffffff. Selections, modify, contract by 3. Press delete, then deselect.

Add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked.

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice to your frame & name.

Merge visible & save as a PNG or JPG.

Optional Avatar –

Delete the text & frame layers. Merge visible.

Crop your tag to 150 x 150.

Repeat the steps for the text & frame. Save as a PNG or JPG.
