This tutorial was written by me on July 15, 2015 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.
PSP Version used: PSP X5
This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.
Tube of choice. I am using the art of PinupToons. You can purchase his tubes here.
PTU kit from Scottish Butterfly called Sexy Cool Summer. You can purchase it here.
Font of choice. I am using Scrap It Up.
Open a new blank canvas, 600 x 250.
Open Paper4. Paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas.
Lets add our elements:
Arrow – paste as a new layer & place to the right side.
RainbowDust – paste as a new layer, place to your liking.
Lolli – resize by 60%. Place slightly to the right, slightly down.
Flowers – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom left. Duplicate & place to the bottom right.
Dice – resize by 40%. Place to the top left.
Cupcake – resize by 64%. Place to the bottom, slightly to the left.
Ribbon2 – place to the bottom. Duplicate, then place to the top.
Fastener – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
Hearts – resize by 60%. Place to the bottom.
Butterfly – resize by 40%. Place below the dice, rotate slightly to the left.
Open your tube. Paste as a new layer above the paper layer. Place to the far left. Duplicate, then move to the middle. Move behind the original copy. Merge the tube layers together.
Duplicate your merged tube layer. Gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, 28. On the original layer, Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:
Set the blend mode to Luminance(L), 20.
Open your tube again, resizing as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the dice layer. Place to the far right.
Add your name, copyrights & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
For your avatar:
Press the undo button till you no longer have a merged layer. Delete the text layers. Crop to 250 x 250, then resize down to 200 px. Add your initial & credits layer. Add a drop shadow to your initial, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
