Sail Away With Me

This tutorial was written by me on July 7th, 2015 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the art of Alex Prihodko. You can purchase his tubes here.

PTU kit by Scottish Butterfly called Sail Away With Me. You can purchase the kit here.

Template 773 by Millie’s PSP Madness. You can find it here.

Mask 2 of Mask Set 76 by me. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Mitre Square.

Open your template & delete the top three layers. Set the canvas size to 700 x 600. Now resize all layers by 86%.

Merge together the following layers:

1 & 2

3 & 4

7 & 8

Replace each layer with the following papers (resize papers by 67%):

1 – Paper3

3 – Paper2

6 – Paper9

7 – Paper5

9 – Paper8

10 – Paper9

Open your mask & Paper6. Resize your paper as you did for all the other papers. Paste your paper as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

Now lets add our elements:

Sand – resize by 67%. Paste as a new layer above all other layers & place to the bottom.

Grass – place to the bottom left. Duplicate & place to the bottom right.

BoatLadder – place to the bottom.

Rocks – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom right.

Branch – resize by 80%, flip horizontal. Place to the top.

WelcomeOnBoard – resize by 40%. Place to the upper right of the top circle layer.

Twine – resize by 50%. Place to the top of the WelcomeOnBoard element. Rotate slightly to the left.

Boat – resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Place to the bottom right.

Chest – resize by 50%. Place to the bottom left.

Bottle – resize by 40%. Place to the right side of the chest.

Coral – resize by 50% Place to the bottom right of the chest.

ButterflyShell – resize by 30%. Place to the bottom left of the boat.

Bubbles – paste as a new layer, flip horizontal.

Flower – resize by 40%. Place to the bottom of the coral.

Open your tube & resize as necessary. Paste as a new layer above the twine layer.

Add your name, copyrights, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, then merge visible. Save as a PNG.
